IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING TEMPORARY PARKING PERMITS

STUDENTS: Effective 12/1/2018, temporary parking permits will be available online ONLY for students. Only currently enrolled students who have already purchased a parking permit for the academic year will have access to the University Police traffic page to request a temporary parking permit for a specific day. This site will allow you to remotely printa temporary parking permit, and eliminate the need for students to visit University Police headquarters. Students may obtain six free temporary permits per academic year. If you exceed this allotment, you may purchaseadditional temporary permits for $2 each. Temporary parking permits for commuter students are valid for ONE day. Resident students will be permitted to obtain a temporary parking permit good for three days. You will need your RAM ID and OASIS pin to obtain a temporary permit.

FACULTY: Effective 12/1/2018, temporary parking permits will be available exclusively online for faculty. These permits will be available, free of charge, as long as the original vehicle is registered in the T2 Parking management system. You will need your RAM ID and OASIS pin to obtain a temporary permit. The temporary parking permit is valid for ONE day only.

STAFF: Please Contact University Police to obtain a temporary permit.

PARKING PERMITS ARE NOT TRANSFERABLE OR REPLACEABLE:

Parking permits are NOT transferable from the individual to whom they are issued, to any other individual. Permits are also NOT transferable from one vehicle to another. If you buy a new vehicle you MUST buy a new parking permit. Decals MUST be affixed to the top, rear side window on the drivers side. It is the responsibility of the owner or operator of such vehicle to insure that the decal remains AFFIXED at all times and is legible. Taping or crimping of the decal is NOT considered as being permanently affixed and is a VIOLATION of this part. Any questions, please contact the Traffic Dept.

PARKING PERMITS FOR THE SPRING 2024 SEMESTER ARE AVAILABLE FOR SALE. IF YOU ARE A COMMUTER STUDENT PLEASE USE THIS PARKING PORTAL IN ORDER TO PURCHASE YOUR PARKING PERMIT. THE PARKING PERMIT IS $30.00 PER VEHICLE. ONCE YOU PURCHASE THE PARKING PERMIT BE SURE TO PRINT OUT THE TEMPORARY PERMIT TO USE WHILE WAITING FOR YOUR PERMIT TO ARRIVE IN THE MAIL. RESIDENT STUDENTS- YOU MUST PURCHASE YOUR VEHICLE PARKING PERMIT IN PERSON AT UNIVERSITY POLICE. THE PERMITS ARE $30.00 CASH ONLY. IF YOU ARE A VETERAN PLEASE COME TO UNIVERSITY POLICE WITH YOUR VETERAN ID. IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF A HANDICAPPED PERMIT PLEASE CONTACT UNIVERSITY POLICE. IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING HANDICAPPED PARKING PERMITS!!

Handicapped parking for faculty, staff, and students requires a valid University Handicap parking decal.  Individuals who qualify for New York State certification as disabled may occupy handicapped spaces with a valid University Handicap parking decal. Handicapped decals or dashboard passes are issued at no extra charge. These decals can be obtained at the Parking Office.  Please bring in your town placard and drivers license for verification. Please contact the Traffic Dept with any questions. University Police aggressively enforces the regulations and routinely impound vehicles illegally parked in handicapped spaces.
